Today your mom and I went in to have another ultrasound. Honestly, neither of us expected good news.
Yesterday was our 7 year wedding anniversary and it was hard to feel good or celebrate, knowing that in just a few short hours we may get the news that we were dreading to hear.
Somewhere in the midst of all that noise and blur, you’re hanging in there.
But almost instantly after the doctor began performing the ultrasound, you appeared before our eyes! And then we heard (and saw) your tiny little heart beat! The doctor seemed almost as happy as we were and reassured us that you were looking good. We will get to take another peek at you next Monday, hopefully you’re learning quickly to not be shy. Anyhow little one, for your mom and me, you were the best anniversary gift ever.
