Hey little man,
You are doing so well that the doctors decided to remove the PICC line from your head so you only have sensors on you now! No more tubes! And because you are progressing so nicely, last night, and the night before that, you and your mom and I all were able to be alone together in a private room. We were an actual ‘family’ for the first time! It was very exciting.
And also very tiring.
You aren’t much for sleeping yet, I guess your stomach is taking precedence over that whole concept right now. And that’s fine, because we can’t take you home until you start putting on some weight. Regardless, your mom and I are running on little sleep right now and driving back and forth from the house to the hospital is just getting brutal. Not to mention the parking fee in the ramp..multiple times..daily. Anyways, if you happen to read this post (you’re two-weeks and 1 day old so I know it’s doubtful), try your best to eat, eat, eat…and keep it all down.
We want you home!
